Perform the following diagnostic procedures: REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY CHECK  and KEY SWITCH CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS. Also, check remote controller function. Perform PROGRAMMING NEW ID CODE  procedure under PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROLLER.
