Fail-Safe Control Mode

Fail-safe control mode is initiated by BCM when a signal from any LCU that is determined to be malfunctioning. If an LCU does not send a signal, or sends an abnormal signal several times consecutively, system will set affected LCU into fail-safe control mode. During fail-safe control mode, no electrical loads for an affected LCU will operate.
