LAN Communication Check

  1. This mode checks for proper communication function between BCM and each LCU on the In-Vehicle Multiplexing System (IVMS). To perform IVMS communication check, enter IVMS system diagnostics.
  2. Select IVMS COMM DIAGNOSIS on Nissan's CONSULT scan tool menu. Touch START. Record any IVMS related fault messages. See CONSULT MESSAGE/DTC REFERENCE  table. Perform appropriate DTC test. For testing, see DIAGNOSTIC TESTS  . Erase fault message(s) from system memory.
