DTC P1212: Abs/TCS Communication Line: Procedure

1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM and ABS/TCS control unit harness connectors. See Fig 1 and Figure. Check continuity of Yellow/Black wire between ABS/TCS control unit harness connector terminal No. 47 and ECM harness connector terminal No. 114. See Fig 2 and Figure. Also check circuit for short to ground and short to voltage. Repair circuit as necessary and retest system. If circuit is okay, go to next step.
2. No problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article.
