Ignition Switch (Start Signal)

On G20, measure voltage between ground and ECM harness connector terminal No. 41 by backprobing. See Figure. On Q45, measure voltage between ground and ECM harness connector terminal No. 80 by backprobing. See Figure. On all models, battery voltage should exist when ignition switch is in START position. If voltage is not as specified, repair ignition switch or circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
