Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Notes

PCM controls EGR system based on engine operating conditions. On Maxima and Sentra, PCM controls ground circuits for EGR Volume Control Valve (EGR-VCV). On all models except Maxima and Sentra, PCM controls ground circuit for EGR Control (EGRC) solenoid. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . EGR-VCV or EGRC solenoid remains closed under certain conditions including the following:
