Park/Neutral Position Switch
PNP switch operates back-up lights and prevents starting except in Park and Neutral. To adjust, place transaxle in Neutral. Disconnect shift cable from transmission shift shaft lever. Loosen PNP switch screws. See Fig 1 . Insert 0.16" (4 mm) pin into adjustment holes in both inhibitor switch and manual shaft. Tighten screws. Remove pin and install control linkage. Ensure vehicle starts only in Park and Neutral.
