Retrieving TAC Module Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Access TAC module located near blower motor. While viewing LED light on side of TAC module, turn ignition on or start engine to begin TAC self-diagnosis. See Figure . If any TAC codes exist, they will be displayed by flashing 2 digit codes through LED of TAC module. See READING TAC CODES  . Determine trouble areas using MALFUNCTION CODE/SYMPTOM CHART  table. After repairs, erase DTC(s) stored in TAC module memory. See CLEARING TAC MODULE MEMORY  . Read codes again and ensure codes are erased (only Code 55 will be repeatedly indicated).
