ASCD Cable
NOTE:
Before adjusting ASCD cable, ensure accelerator cable is properly adjusted. See ACCELERATOR CABLE .
CAUTION:
DO NOT twist or overtighten cable wire during adjustment procedure.
Loosen ASCD cable lock nut and adjusting nut. See Fig 1. Tighten adjusting nut until throttle drum starts to move. Loosen adjusting nut 1/2-1 turn. Tighten cable lock nut to 71-89 INCH lbs. (8-10 N.m).
