DTC P0325: Knock Sensor: Procedure
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM harness connector. See Figure. Measure resistance between ground and ECM harness connector terminal No. 64. See Figure. Resistance should be about 500-620 k/ohms at 77°F (25°C). If resistance is as specified, go to step 3. If resistance is not as specified, go to next step.
- Disconnect knock sensor harness connector, located near injector No. 5 harness connector. Check for open or short in White wire between knock sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector terminal No. 64. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, measure resistance between ground and knock sensor White wire terminal. Resistance should be about 500-620 k/ohms at 77°F (25°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace knock sensor. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
- Loosen and retighten engine ground bolts. See Figure. Disconnect connector F-6. See Fig 1. Check continuity between ground and connector F-6 terminal No. 6. See Fig 2. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open ground circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
- No problem is currently indicated. Problem may be intermittent. See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article.
