DTC Confirmation Test (Using Generic Scan Tool)

Start engine and let it idle for at least 6 seconds. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Start engine and let it idle for at least 6 seconds. Select MODE 3 with scan tool. If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
