DTC Confirmation Test (Using CONSULT-II)

  1. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature.
  2. Select HO2S1 (B1) P0134 or HO2S1 (B2) P0154 in DTC WORK SUPPORT mode with CONSULT-II.
  3. Press START.
  4. Allow engine to idle for at least 3 minutes.
    NOTE: DO NOT exceed 3600 RPM. If engine speed exceeds 3600 RPM, return to step  4 .
  5. When the following conditions are met, TESTING will be displayed on CONSULT-II screen:
    • ENG SPEED: 1400-2600 RPM.
    • Vehicle speed: more than 43 MPH.
    • B/FUEL SCHDL: 2-12 msec.

    Maintain conditions continuously until TESTING changes to COMPLETED (it will take 10-60 seconds). If TESTING is not displayed after 5 minutes, retry from step  2 .

  6. Press SELF-DIAG RESULTS. If NG is displayed, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If OK is displayed, system is okay at this time.
