DTC Confirmation Test

  1. Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode with CONSULT-II. Wait at least 10 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, go to next step.
  2. Read COOLAN TEMP/S value. If COOLAN TEMP/S is more than 140°F (60°C), allow engine to cool until COOLAN TEMP/S is less than 140°F (60°C).
  3. Wait at least 10 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
