DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE: If DTC confirmation procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

Using CONSULT-II Or GST

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  2. Select DATA MONITOR mode.
  3. Press ON/OFF switch on ICC steering switch.
  4. Drive vehicle, or raise and support drive wheels and run at more than 25 MPH.
  5. Press COAST/SET switch.
  6. If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
