DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE: If DTC confirmation procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch to OFF position and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

Using CONSULT-II or GST

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position and select DATA MONITOR mode.
  2. Start engine and run engine at idle speed for at least 5 second.
  3. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
