Component Inspection

Connect all harness connectors.
Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
Check voltage between ECM terminal No. 51 (mass airflow sensor signal) and ground. See MAF SENSOR VOLTAGE table.
If voltage not to specification, perform the following:
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect mass airflow sensor harness connector and reconnect it.
- Perform steps 2 and 3 again.
If not okay, remove mass airflow sensor from air duct. Check hot film for damage or dust.
Repair or replace as necessary.
