Possible Causes

NOTE: Freeze frame data is not stored in ECM for this self-diagnosis. MIL will not light up for this self-diagnosis.

Malfunction is detected when ECM cannot receive information from VDC/TCS/ABS control unit continuously. Possible causes are:

CAN communication line between ECM and VDC/TCS/ABS control unit is open or shorted.
Defective VDC/TCS/ABS control unit.
Dead (weak) battery.
