DTC P1564: Automatic Speed Control Device (ASCD) Steering Switch: Notes

NOTE: ICC steering switch is an option on this vehicle. If vehicle is so equipped, see DTC P1564: INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL (ICC) STEERING SWITCH .

NOTE: If DTC P0605 is also set, perform diagnostics for that DTC first. See DTC P0605: ENGINE CONTROL MODULE .

NOTE: Before performing diagnostic procedure, follow testing procedure. See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.

NOTE: This diagnosis has one trip detection logic. MIL will not illuminate.
