Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Check for TCM DTCs. See appropriate DIAGNOSIS article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. If DTCs are not present, go to next step. If DTCs are present, perform appropriate diagnostic procedure.
  2. Check for VDC/TCS/ABS control unit DTCs. See appropriate VDC/TCS/ABS article in BRAKES. If DTCs are not present, go to next step. If DTCs are present, perform appropriate diagnostic procedure.
  3. Check for unified meter and A/C amp. DTCs. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANEL & GAUGES article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Diagnose and repair as necessary.
