DTC Confirmation Test (Using CONSULT-II)

NOTE: If a DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before performing next DTC confirmation test.
  1. Start engine and warm it to normal operating temperature.
  2. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds.
  3. Turn ignition on.
  4. Select DATA MONITOR mode with CONSULT-II.
  5. Ensure FUEL T/TEMP SE value is more than 32°F (0°C).
  6. Start engine and wait 20 seconds.
  7. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
