DTC P1574: Automatic Speed Control Device Vehicle Speed Sensor: Notes

NOTE: If DTC P1574 is displayed with DTC U1000 or U1001, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000 or U1001. See DTC U1000 OR DTC U1001 . If DTC P1574 is displayed with DTC P0500, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC P0500. See DTC P0500: VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR . If DTC P1574 is displayed with DTC P0605, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC P0605. See DTC P0605: ENGINE CONTROL MODULE .

CAUTION: When battery or ECM is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until adaptation systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES - INFINITI article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

NOTE: Self-diagnostic tests are written specifically for Nissan's CONSULT-II scan tool. A generic scan tool may not be capable of performing all necessary test functions.

NOTE: Before replacing any component that scan tool suggests as faulty, ensure that all wiring connections and harness connectors are okay. Ensure that Power/Ground (PG) circuits are functioning properly.
