DTC Confirmation Test

  1. Open hood. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode with CONSULT-II.
  2. Start engine let it idle for at least one minute. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
