DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: If DTC confirmation procedure had been previously run, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before continuing.
NOTE: Before proceeding, ensure battery voltage is 10 volts or more at idle. Test may be conducted with the drive wheels lifted in the shop or by driving the vehicle.

Turn ignition on. On scan tool, select DATA MONITOR mode. Start engine and drive vehicle at more than 3 MPH for 5 seconds. If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
