KEYFOB Battery And Function Check

  1. CHECK KEYFOB BATTERY 

    Remove battery (refer to KEYFOB BATTERY REPLACEMENT  ) and measure voltage across battery positive and negative terminals, (+) and (-).

    Voltage [V]: 

    2.5 - 3.0 

    NOTE: Keyfob does not function if battery is not set correctly.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: Replace battery. (Refer to KEYFOB BATTERY REPLACEMENT  )
  2. CHECK KEYFOB FUNCTION 

    With CONSULT-II 

    Check keyfob function ("LK BUTTON/SIG", "UN BUTTON/SIG", "PANIC BTN", "UN BUTTON ON" and "LK/UN BTN ON") in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.

    NOTE: Even though TRUNK BTN/SIG is actually displayed on the CONSULT-II screen, it is not equipped, therefore, they cannot be activated.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: Keyfob is OK. Further inspection is necessary. Refer to "SYMPTOM CHART  " .
    2. NG: Replace keyfob. Refer to ID Code Entry Procedure. (ID CODE ENTRY PROCEDURE  )
