DTC Confirmation Procedure
CAUTION:
Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.
NOTE:
If DTC confirmation procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
With CONSULT-II
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Select DATA MONITOR mode with CONSULT-II.
- Start engine.
- Drive vehicle at a speed of 20 km/h (12 MPH) or more for at least 5 seconds without brake pedal depressing.
- If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
With GST
Follow the procedure With CONSULT-II above.
