5. Knock Sensor Shield Circuit For Open And Short

1. Disconnect harness connectors F40, F241.
2. Check harness continuity between the following;

   harness connector F40 terminal 1 and ground

   harness connector F40 terminal 3 and ground.

   Refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .

   Continuity should exist. 

OK or NG 

1. OK: GO TO 7. CHECK KNOCK SENSOR .
2. NG: GO TO 6.
