ABS System

If a malfunction occurs in the electrical system, the ABS warning lamp, VDC OFF indicator lamp, and SLIP indicator lamp in the meter will turn ON. In this state, the VDC/TCS/ABS and EBD revert to the following fail-safe functions:

Only EBD operates. The same condition as that of models without VDC/TCS/ABS.
VDC/TCS/ABS and EBD do not operate. Only normal braking operation occurs on 4 wheels.

NOTE: In step 1 , the self-diagnosis is carried out as the ignition switch is turned ON and when the vehicle initially starts. ABS self-diagnosis noise may be heard as usual.
