- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect Nissan CONSULT tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under instrument panel, next to parking brake release handle. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition switch to ON position. Press START. Check the model specification, touch either WITH SUNROOF or WITHOUT SUNROOF.
- Press In-Vehicle Multiplexing System (IVMS), then MULTI-REMOTE CONT SYS button on scan tool display. Touch WORK SUPPORT. REMO CONT ID CONFIR use this mode to confirm if a electronic key ID code is registered or not. REMO CONT ID REGIST use this mode to register a electronic key ID code. REMO CONT ID ERASUR use this mode to erase a electronic key ID code.
