- New identity code must be manually entered whenever replacing remote controller or BCM, or when adding additional remote controller(s). To enter identity code, go to next step.
- Close all doors. Insert and remove key from ignition switch more than 6 times within 10 seconds. Turn ignition switch to ACC position.
- Push any lock button on new remote controller once. At this time the oldest code is erased and identity code for the new remote controller has now been entered.
- To enter additional remote controller identity code(s), unlock and lock with driver's lock knob switch and repeat step 3 . A maximum of 4 remote controller identity codes can be entered. If same identity code is entered more than once, entry is ignored. To exit programming (ID entry) mode, open driver's side door and remove key from ignition switch.
