Cruise Control Module: Removal

- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Disconnect connector from cruise control module. See Fig 1 .
- Open throttle cam slightly to remove cruise control cable from throttle body cam lever. See Fig 2 .
- Remove cruise control cable from throttle body bracket.
- Remove cruise control cable from retainer clip on engine.
- Turn cruise control cable 1/4 turn counterclockwise to disconnect cable from module. See Fig 3 .
- Disconnect cruise control cable slug from ribbon buckle.
- Release retainer strap from cruise control module mounting bracket. See Fig 4 .
- Remove cruise control module from mounting bracket.
