Electronic Brake Control Module: Installation

  1. Clean EBCM gasket and BPMV surface with alcohol using a clean rag.
  2. Install EBCM to BPMV.
  3. Tighten EBCM mounting bolts to 44 INCH Lbs. (5 N.m).
  4. Connect EBCM connector to EBCM. Install driver side splash shield.
  5. Perform anti-lock brake system diagnostic system check. See ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
