Sensing & Diagnostic Module: Notes

WARNING: Do not strike or jolt SDM. Failure to follow correct procedure could cause air bag deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs. If any water enters vehicle interior up to level of carpet or higher and submerges or partially submerges Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) and SDM harness connector, SDM and harness must be replaced. SDM could be activated when powered, which could cause deployment of air bag(s) and result in personal injury.
