Diagnosis Procedure

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between power window main switch connector and ground.

Is the measurement value within the specification? 

YES: Replace power window main switch. Refer to , "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ". After that, Refer to , "POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH : SPECIAL REPAIR REQUIREMENT ".

NO: GO TO 2.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect power window main switch connector and front door lock assembly (driver side) (key cylinder switch) connector.
3. Check continuity between power window main switch connector and front door lock assembly (driver side) (key cylinder switch) connector.

4. Check continuity between power window main switch connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: GO TO 3.

NO: Repair or replace harness.

Check continuity between front door lock assembly (driver side) (key cylinder switch) connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: GO TO 4.

NO: Repair or replace harness.

Check door key cylinder switch.

Refer to , "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".

NO: Replace front door lock assembly (driver side) (door key cylinder switch). Refer to "FRONT DOOR LOCK : REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ". After that, Refer to , "SPECIAL REPAIR REQUIREMENT ".
