Component Inspection
- CHECK ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR
- Reconnect all harness connectors disconnected.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between ECM harness connector terminals under the following conditions.
ECM Condition Voltage (V) Connector + - Terminal E16 97 100 Accelerator pedal Fully released 0.5 - 1.0 Fully depressed 4.2 - 4.8 98 116 Fully released 0.25 - 0.50 Fully depressed 2.0 - 2.5 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Replace accelerator pedal assembly. Refer to "MODELS WITHOUT DISTANCE CONTROL ASSIST SYSTEM: EXPLODED VIEW " (Models without distance control assist system) or "MODELS WITH DISTANCE CONTROL ASSIST SYSTEM: EXPLODED VIEW " (Models with distance control assist system).
