Component Function Check
- CHECK INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Reconnect all harness connectors disconnected.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between mass air flow sensor (bank 1) terminals as follows.
Terminals Condition Voltage (V) 2 and 4 Temperature [°C (°F)] 25 (77) Approx. 2 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Proceed to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Proceed to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
