Component Function Check

  1. CHECK FDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION (1) 

    Check that FDC OFF indicator lamp turns ON for approx. 1 second after ignition switch is turned ON.

    CAUTION: Never start engine.

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: GO TO 2.

    NO: Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".

  2. CHECK FDC WARNING LAMP FUNCTION (2) 

    Check that FDC OFF indicator lamp turns ON/OFF when FDC OFF switch is operated.

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: INSPECTION END

    NO: Check FDC OFF switch system. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
