TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

NOTE: When the TPMS sensor-transmitter or Low Tire Pressure Warning Control Unit is replaced, or the tires rotated, tire pressure sensors must be registered.

The low tire pressure warning indicators do not automatically turn off when the tire pressure is adjusted. After the tire is inflated to the recommended pressure, the vehicle must be driven at speeds above 25 mph (40 km/h) for at least 10 minutes. Ensure warning indicators go out.
