Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL B CIRCUIT
- Disconnect AV control unit connector and spiral cable connector.
- Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector and spiral cable harness connector.
AV control unit Spiral cable Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M201 16 M36 31 Existed - Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector and ground.
AV control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M201 16 Not existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check spiral cable.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Replace spiral cable.
- CHECK AV CONTROL UNIT VOLTAGE
- Connect AV control unit connector and spiral cable connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between AV control unit harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4.
NO
Replace AV control unit. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check steering switch. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
INSPECTION END
NO
Replace steering switch. Refer to EXPLODED VIEW .
