Diagnostic Test

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect VVEL actuator motor harness connector.
3. Check resistance between VVEL actuator motor terminals as follows.

   VVEL actuator motor	Resistance
   Terminal
   1 and 2	16 Ω or less

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

INSPECTION END

NO 

GO TO STEP 2  .

1. Replace VVEL actuator sub assembly.
2. Go to SPECIAL REPAIR REQUIREMENT .
