Diagnostic Test

  1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Erase DTC.
    3. Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure.

      See DTC LOGIC .

    Is the DTC P1606 displayed again?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO 

    INSPECTION END

  2. REPLACE VVEL CONTROL MODULE

    1. Replace VVEL control module. Refer to COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION .
    2. Go to DESCRIPTION .

    INSPECTION END
