DTC Detection Logic

NOTE:
  • If DTC B26FE is displayed with DTC U1000, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to DTC LOGIC .
  • If DTC B26FE is displayed with DTC U1010, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1010. Refer to DTC LOGIC .
DTC CONSULT display description DTC detecting condition Possible cause
B26FE HOOD SW CAN DIAG ERROR Hood switch signals (Hood switch 1 and Hood switch 2) received from IPDM E/R via CAN communication are different.
  • Harness or connector

    (hood switch circuit is open or shorted)

  • Hood switch 1
  • Hood switch 2
