DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY

    If DTC U0428 is displayed with DTC U1232, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC U1232.

    Is applicable DTC detected?

    YES 

    Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

    G-20 With CONSULT

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
    3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
    4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "AVM" using CONSULT.
    5. Check DTC.

    Is DTC U0428 detected?

    YES 

    Proceed to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

    NO-1 

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

    NO-2 

    Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
