- INTERVIEW FOR MALFUNCTION
Interview the customer to obtain information about symptoms using "Diagnostic Work Sheet". (Refer to DIAGNOSTIC WORK SHEET .)
NOTE:The customers are not professionals. Never assume that "maybe the customer means•••" or "maybe the customer mentioned this symptom".
GO TO STEP 2 .
- SELF-DIAGNOSIS WITH CONSULT
- Perform "All DTC Reading" with CONSULT.
- Check if the DTC is detected on the self-diagnosis results of following.
- "CHASSIS CONTROL"
- "LANE CAMERA"
Is any DTC detected?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
GO TO STEP 3 .
- PRE-INSPECTION FOR DIAGNOSIS
Perform pre-inspection for diagnosis. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE .
GO TO STEP 4 .
- ACTION TEST
Perform Active Lane Control action test to check the operation status. Refer to DESCRIPTION .
GO TO STEP 6 .
- TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS BY DTC
- Check the DTC in the self-diagnosis results.
- Perform trouble diagnosis for the detected DTC following.
NOTE:If "DTC: U1000" is detected, first diagnose the CAN communication system, chassis communication system or ITS communication system.
GO TO STEP 7 .
- SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS
Perform symptom diagnosis. Specify malfunctioning part. Refer to SYMPTOM TABLE .
GO TO STEP 7 .
- MALFUNCTION PART REPAIR
Repair or replace the identified malfunctioning parts.
GO TO STEP 8 .
- REPAIR CHECK (SELF-DIAGNOSIS WITH CONSULT)
- Erases self-diagnosis results.
- Perform "All DTC Reading" again after repairing or replacing the specific items.
- Check if any DTC is detected in self-diagnosis results of following.
- "CHASSIS CONTROL"
- "LANE CAMERA"
Is any DTC detected?
YES
GO TO STEP 5 .
NO
GO TO STEP 9 .
- REPAIR CHECK (ACTION TEST)
- Perform the action test. Refer to DESCRIPTION .
- Check that the malfunction symptom is solved or no other symptoms occur.
Is there a malfunction symptom?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
INSPECTION END
