Diagnosis System (Av Control Unit): Description
The AV control unit on board diagnosis includes the following functions:
- Multifunction switch and preset switch self diagnosis that checks the ON/OFF operation (continuity) of each switch in the multifunction switch and preset switch.NOTE:
The hazard switch and disk eject switch are not included in this operation check.
- AV control unit on board diagnosis performs the following functions listed in the table below:
Mode Description Self Diagnosis - AV control unit diagnosis.
- Diagnoses the connections across system components (between AV control unit and each unit).
Confirmation/Adjustment Display Diagnosis - Color tone check using color spectrum bar display and white display.
- Light and shade check by gradation bar display.
Vehicle Signals Diagnosis of signals can be performed for vehicle speed, parking brake, lights, ignition and reverse. Speaker Test Speaker connection can be confirmed by test tone. Error History - The system malfunction and frequency of past occurrences is displayed.
- When malfunctioning item is selected, time and place that the malfunction last occurred are displayed.
Camera Cont. - Guiding line position that overlaps rear view camera image can be adjusted.
- Configuration stored in the AV control unit can be checked.
Vehicle CAN Diagnosis Transmit/receive function of CAN communication can be monitored. AV COMM Diagnosis Communication condition of each unit of Multi AV system can be monitored. Delete Unit Connection Log Erase connection history of unit and error history. Initialize Settings Initializes the AV control unit memory.
Perform CONSULT diagnosis if the AV control unit on board diagnosis does not start, the screen does not display anything, or the multifunction switch and preset switch self diagnosis does not function.
