Component Inspection

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect A/T shift selector connector.
3. Check continuity between A/T shift selector (detention switch) terminals.

   A/T shift selector (detention switch)		Condition		Continuity
   Terminal
   13	14	Selector lever	P position	Not existed
   			Other than above	Existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

INSPECTION END

NO 

Replace A/T shift selector. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
