Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check Door Switch. Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
Check voltage between driver side Power Window Motor harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage (V) Power Window Motor (Driver Side) Connector Terminal D6 8 Ground 9 - 16 Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
GO TO STEP 3 .
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT 1
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect Power Window Main Switch connector and driver side Power Window Motor connector.
- Check continuity between Power Window Main Switch harness connector and driver side Power Window Motor harness connector.
Power Window Main Switch Power Window Motor (Driver Side) Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal D8 8 D6 8 Existed - Check continuity between Power Window Main Switch harness connector and ground.
Power Window Main Switch Continuity Continuity Connector Terminal D8 8 Ground Not existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT 2
- Disconnect driver side Door Switch connector.
- Check continuity between driver side Door Switch harness connector and Power Window Main Switch harness connector.
Power Window Main Switch Door Switch (Driver Side) Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal D8 12 B42 3 Existed - Check continuity between Power Window Main Switch harness connector and ground.
Power Window Main Switch (-) Continuity Connector Terminal D8 12 Ground Not existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
