Diagnostic Test
- PERFORM ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) SELF-DIAGNOSIS
With CONSULT
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Perform self-diagnosis for "ABS".
Is any DTC detected?
YES
Check the DTC. Refer to DTC INDEX .
NO
GO TO STEP 2 .
- PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Perform self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".
Is DTC "C13C7 - 00" or "C13E2 - 00" detected?
YES - 1
C13C7 - 00 is detected: Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .
YES - 2
C13E2 - 00 is detected: Replace steering force control module. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
- Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to HOW TO CHECK TERMINAL .
- Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
