Diagnostic Test

With CONSULT 

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Erase self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds.
4. Start the engine.
   CAUTION:

   Never drive the vehicle.

5. Turn the steering wheel to the center position.
   CAUTION:

   Never touch the steering wheel after setting it to center position.

6. Perform self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".

Is DTC "C13E3 - 00" detected?

YES 

Replace steering force control module. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO 

Spiral cable protection function is active by steering the steering wheel over the limit angle. This is not system malfunction.
