Diagnostic Test

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect steering angle sub control module and steering angle sub motor harness connector.
3. Check the continuity between control module harness connector and motor harness connector.

4. Check the continuity between control module harness connector and ground.

   Steering angle sub control module		-	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   E99	35	Ground	Not existed

   	37

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

GO TO STEP 2  .

NO 

Repair or replace error - detected part.

1. Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to HOW TO CHECK TERMINAL .
2. Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES 

Replace steering angle sub control module. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO 

Repair or replace error - detected part.
