Steering Column Control Module Control Function

SWITCH AND SENSOR READING FUNCTION

• Steering column control module receives signal from steering angle sensor, combination switch and cruise control lever via hard wire.
• Steering column control module receives signal from steering switch and paddle shifter via LIN communication.
• Steering column control module transmits these signal to corresponding control units via CAN communication.

VIBRATION MOTOR CONTROL FUNCTION

• Steering column control module receives signal from front camera unit via CAN communication and controls vibration motor. For details of LDW system, refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION .

STEERING SWITCH ILLUMINATION CONTROL FUNCTION

• Steering column control module controls the illumination of steering switch.
